UKVEC TERMS

Terms of service

These terms describe the Full UKVEC Report service, how the report is supplied and the limits of a vehicle-data check. UKVEC is operated by WIDERSOLUTIONS LIMITED, company number 09878083.

1. Who provides UKVEC

UKVEC (UK Vehicle Enhanced Check) is operated by WIDERSOLUTIONS LIMITED, company number 09878083, a company registered in England and Wales.

Registered office: Suite A, 82 James Carter Road, Mildenhall, IP28 7DE. Customer support: support@ukvec.co.uk.

2. The service

UKVEC provides a digital vehicle information report for the registration entered by the customer. The report combines vehicle identity, MOT and licensed provenance information available from the configured data providers at the time the report is generated.

A UKVEC report is an information product. It is not a mechanical inspection, valuation, warranty, legal title certificate or guarantee that a vehicle is safe or suitable to buy.

3. Price and payment

The Full UKVEC Report launch price is £5.99. The total price presented immediately before checkout is the price payable for that report.

Payment is processed by Stripe. UKVEC does not receive or store the customer's full card number.

4. Immediate digital supply

Before checkout, the customer must expressly request immediate supply of the digital report and acknowledge the cancellation information. Once Stripe confirms payment through a signed webhook, UKVEC issues private report access and may immediately request the paid vehicle-history data needed to fulfil the report.

Where the law permits cancellation rights to be lost after immediate supply of digital content begins, UKVEC records the customer's request and acknowledgement as part of the payment entitlement.

5. Data accuracy and unavailable information

Vehicle records can be incomplete, delayed, corrected or unavailable. UKVEC preserves unavailable supplier fields as unavailable and does not convert missing data into a clear result.

Customers should compare the report with the physical vehicle, V5C, VIN, service records and any seller evidence before paying for a vehicle.

6. Report access and sharing

A paid report is opened using a private UKVEC access token. Customers should keep that link private. The downloadable PDF may be saved or shared for the customer's own vehicle-purchase decision.

Automated harvesting, bulk lookup, resale of report data or attempts to reproduce UKVEC's supplier datasets are not permitted.

7. Supplier and service failures

If payment is confirmed but the paid supplier lookup fails after the entitlement has been redeemed, UKVEC records the failure and does not automatically make a second chargeable supplier lookup. The customer should contact support rather than paying again.

Refund and cancellation handling is described on the Refunds & cancellation page.
